Seller motivation
A price drop signals a seller who is ready to move. Coaches that have dropped price are statistically more likely to accept a below-asking offer.
Large drops (10%+) need scrutiny
Drops of 10% or more are highlighted in red. These may indicate strong motivation or an initially overpriced listing. Compare the new price to market averages using our values tool.
Always inspect

How does CoachValues detect price drops?
We track listing prices over time by monitoring major motorcoach marketplaces and dealer websites. When a listing's price decreases, we automatically record the drop with the old price, new price, percentage change, and date.
What counts as a meaningful price drop?
We filter out noise by requiring drops to exceed $500 and 1% of the original price. This eliminates rounding adjustments and trivial changes that don't reflect genuine seller motivation.
What does a large price drop (10%+) mean?
A drop of 10% or more is significant. It often signals strong seller motivation — they may need to sell quickly, the coach may have been overpriced initially, or market conditions may have shifted. These are highlighted in red for easy identification.
Does a price drop mean something is wrong with the motorcoach?
Not necessarily. Price drops can indicate seller motivation, seasonal adjustments, market corrections, or simply a coach that was initially overpriced. Always conduct a thorough inspection regardless of price history.
How often is price data updated?
Our scrapers run regularly to capture new listings and price changes. Price drop events are detected automatically via database trigger whenever new price data is recorded.
